Loren shared the clip filmed by a friend of the couple to her Instagram account, noting that the people who were there with the swimmer in distress ‘did nothing’ to help him.

‘My husband was watching a guy who was beyond intoxicated, who was with his ‘friends’ who just stood there and watched!’ she said. ‘The man went into the water and about drowned!’

She criticized the man’s associates for ‘standing there and then walking away,’ noting that ‘NOT ONE OF THEM went in the ambulance with him either.

‘It goes to show you may think your friends are your friends, but God forbid something bad happens, would then help you or just stand there and watch you fall?!’

Pregnant Loren said that the incident reaffirmed her belief that ‘we are meant to be in a place in time for a reason.

Loren continued: ‘Alex and his friend Sean were meant to be at this beach, at this exact time because if not, who knows what could have happened!’

The moment was caught on camera by Alex’s friend, Sean Apache Shields, who wrote on Instagram: ‘Today Could Have Turned Out Different For This Kid…A Life Was Saved…’

He tagged his post ‘today a life was saved.’

As for Alex, he also commented.

‘I am glad I was able to be at the right place at the right time today to pull this kid out of the water before it’s too late,’ he wrote, modestly.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based duo, who fist met in Alex’s native Israel, are currently expecting their first child. After initially marrying on reality television, they have since had two more wedding ceremonies, in September 2015 and July 2016, in both the U.S. and Israel.
