Ex-Married At First Sight star Heidi Latcham takes a savage swipe at Elizabeth Sobinoff for appearing on the show for a second time
After a bad experience on last year’s season of Married At First Sight, Elizabeth Sobinoff returned for a second chance at love on Monday night.
And while fans have thrown their support behind the unlucky-in-love brunette, her former co-star Heidi Latcham isn’t so impressed.
While interviewing 2020 star Josh Pihlak on her Sea FM breakfast show on Tuesday, Heidi expressed disbelief that anyone with genuine intentions would do MAFS twice.

‘No! As if! You can’t do it again,’ Heidi said, after Josh had praised Elizabeth for putting herself out there.
‘If you’d gone through it [before], you’d be like, “Oh no.”‘
Heidi, who was unsuccessfully paired with Mike Gunner on last year’s experiment, isn’t the first MAFS alum to criticise Elizabeth’s return to the show.

Sam Ball, Elizabeth’s ex’-husband’ from last year’s season, took a subtle swipe at her via Instagram on Saturday, just two days before her big return.
He said: ‘Good on her if that’s what she wants to do to find love. Everyone that’s been in the experiment [before] knows how set up [it is], and what goes on behind the scenes. I wouldn’t do it again.’
Sam had infamously fat shamed Elizabeth on their wedding day by saying he ‘didn’t usually date girls her size’, before cheating on her with another bride, Ines Basic.

Just hours before Elizabeth’s wedding aired on Monday night, Cyrell Paule also criticised her former friend in an interview with WHO magazine.
‘The intruders come in soon. I hope that they make it interesting, but I’m very doubtful. I have seen who is coming up and they don’t look that exciting,’ she said, clearly taking a swipe at Elizabeth.
Cyrell and Elizabeth had a very public falling out last year over a $3,000 nightclub appearance deal in Darwin.

‘She wasn’t happy with me getting all the club appearance gigs and that’s why the jealousy started. It’s just really pathetic and immature,’ Cyrell said at the time.
Intriguingly, none of Elizabeth’s former castmates have publicly congratulated her on returning to the show this year.
Daily Mail Australia understands that Elizabeth ‘isolated herself’ from many of her co-stars after last year’s season aired.
It’s believed some participants ‘resented’ her for being so loyal to Channel Nine after they had been portrayed badly in the experiment.
