‘I feel so sick’: Married At First Sight star Ines Basic reveals she is being tested for coronavirus after suffering from SORE EARS
Ines Basic has revealed that she is being tested for COVID-19 after falling ill overnight.
The former Married At First Sight star shared a number of Instagram Stories on Tuesday, revealing she had been rushed to testing after presenting at a doctor’s office with unusual symptoms.
The 29-year-old was suffering from sore ears, body aches and an upset stomach which she mistook for a reaction to consuming gluten.

She explained in the clips: ‘Last night I didn’t feel well. And I thought it was just because I ate gluten.
‘But this morning when I woke up, I was like to my sister, I don’t feel well. I know my body really well.’
Ines then explained that she had symptoms she attributed to her preexisting sinus issues.

‘I have a long history of sinus infections and because my ears were really sore, I assumed it was just a sinus infection.
‘So I went to the doctor and he looked in my throat and he was like, you have a viral infection in your throat.
He said you have to go to the screening centre for COVID straight away.’

Ines explained that her symptoms were not those commonly associated with the illness.
‘The doctor told me there’s three different categories you can fall into with symptoms. Hence I don’t have the main ones.
‘I feel so sick, and my body is so sore. I have some sort of virus, just ruling out that it’s not COVID. My body pains are so bad,’ she said.

The former reality star explained she was no waiting 48 hours for her results to learn if she indeed has COVID-19.
‘Now I have to wait 48 hours for my results. I can’t leave my house for 48 hours,’ she told her fans.
Symptoms of COVID-19, a respiratory virus, include a high fever, persistent cough nd a sore throat, as well as experiencing tiredness and shortness of breath.
