‘No one wants to hear from you’: Ed Kavalee is brutally shut down over his failed 2Day FM breakfast show on Amazon Prime’s Last One Laughing
Funnyman and radio host Ed Kavalee was the subject of a brutal joke on Amazon Prime’s hilarious new show Last One Laughing.
The 41-year-old was completely shut down on a recent episode by stand-up comedian Anne Edmonds, who mocked his failed 2Day FM breakfast show.
After Ed tried to crack a joke, Anne savagely replied: ‘No one wants to hear from you, that’s why your breakfast radio show was axed!’

In another episode, his failed show was bought up multiple times and at one point Anne asked: ‘How’s that goin’ darlin’?’
Ed replied: ‘Well the breakfast one didn’t go very well, but I’m doing drive at the moment.’
Mumbrella reports the dig was over Ed’s failed breakfast show with Em Rusciano and Grant Denyer, which aired back in 2018.

Em’s former co-host – Harley Breen – announced he was leaving at the end of 2017, with 2Day FM subsequently revealing Ed and Grant would be joining the show.
In September 2018, Em announced she was leaving the show.
Ed and Grant went on to host their own breakfast show at the network with Ash London, bit it was cancelled in August last year after suffering 18 months of dismal ratings. It was replaced by a music-only program.

But Ed bounced back last year, when it was announced in December that he would permanently replace host Kate Langbroek on the 2Day FM drive show, Hughesy and Kate, for 2020.
It was renamed to Hughesy and Ed. Kate and her husband Peter relocated to Bologna, Italy, for a family gap year.
Ed has also had TV success and appeared on shows including Thank God You’re Here from 2006 to 2009.
