As part of Team Kelly, Chris commanded attention on stage as he belted out lyrics to Charlie Puth’s hit Attention.

Guy was seen grooving away in his red chair, clearly enjoying the performance.

‘Just seeing you Chris in that set with all of that production, and as a brother, it’s something I’ve dreamt of you for a long time,’ he said afterwards.

‘Just seeing you look like a star, sound like a star,’ Guy continued, adding that his brother’s ‘range is stupid’.

Letting his guard down, the Battle Scars star added that he tries to ‘disconnect’ himself from being his brother.

‘I think also for me, I try to disconnect myself from being your brother, and if I heard your voice [for the first time], I would flip out,’ he explained. ‘You’re just such a great singer, and yeah I love you, legend.’

Chris told the hosts and coaches that he was ‘terrified’ to play such a powerful ballad in front of Guy.

‘I was terrified,’ he admitted with a laugh. ‘I haven’t really played guitar much in front of him, so I was definitely worried.’

Coach Kelly was impressed by her singer’s song choice, saying: ‘I actually didn’t expect Chris to sing a ballad, so when he came into rehearsal and he did Attention, I was like, “Okay, let’s go!”

‘I think it is important that when you get here as an artist, you have to have a plan. You have to have a strategy, so I think that was a really, really good move, because yes you can do a ballad now, but you’ve also shown us you know how to do a tempo.

‘So do not shy away from a tempo going forward, because you obviously know how to do it,’ she concluded.

The Voice continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
