Emily Atack ‘enjoys new romance with beau Joe Caro’ after the pair were seen enjoying a boozy date

Emily Atack is allegedly enjoying a new romance with Missguided social media executive Joe Caro, after they were spotted enjoying a boozy date on Wednesday.

It was reported by The Sun on Saturday that the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Outta Here! star, 30, had embarked on the new relationship after her split from Rob Jowers.

A source speaking to the publication claimed: ‘It’s early days between the pair but Emily loves how laid-back Cornishman Joe is.

‘They share the same sense of humour and are both chilled out. She’s super busy with her career at the moment so is more than happy to take it slowly.’

On Wednesday, Emily appeared in great spirits as she enjoyed a boozy lunch with Joe at The Flask pub in Highgate.

The actress treated herself to a glass of wine as she engaged in a cosy conversation with her companion before they were seen strolling side-by-side.

MailOnline has contacted Emily’s representatives for comment.

Emily split from her ex-boyfriend Rob in September after just six months of dating, and revealed in July that she had been Zoom dating during lockdown as it had been the ‘longest’ she’s ever been single.

Her love life isn’t the only thing that appears to be flourishing, as it was revealed that the star’s show Singletown has been picked up by HBO Max.

Emily co-hosts the ITV2 show with Joel Dommett, which first aired last year, and it was claimed by The Mirror that the new platform will give the actress the chance to break into the American film and TV industry.

A source speaking to the publication explained: ‘Emily is in demand. She’s not just a presenter she’s a comedian who writes her own content.’

Last month, Emily admitted the novelty of Zoom dating quickly wore off as she said she struggled to build a meaningful bond without the opportunity to meet in person.

She explained to The Sun: ‘I had a couple of Zoom dates and realised I need the tactile vibes. I’ve got to have the physical connection. I spoke to a couple of pleasant people but Zoom dating ain’t for me.’

Emily has been dipping her toe into the dating pond since she parted ways with her film producer lover, Rob, in September 2019.

The pair became an item after they met at Jack Whitehall’s BRITs after-party and he offered to buy her a drink.

The actress had hopes of a ‘happy ending’ as their relationship progressed, and she even flirted with the idea of marriage and children, but their union ended after six months.

After dealing with the heartbreak of their separation, Emily embarked on the longest period of her life as a single woman, opting to focus on herself first and foremost.

She added to the publication: ‘I’ve only been single for nine months and that’s a really nice time to be by yourself. This is the longest I’ve ever been single.’

Emily has a history of dating hunky celebrities including One Direction’s Harry Styles and London-based model Jack Vacher.

With no shortage of potential suitors knocking at her door, the actress has decided to put dating on the back-burner to prioritise her career.

She continued to The Sun: ‘I’ve always been in relationships so I know I don’t struggle to get a boyfriend. I’m just choosing career and fun and all those things at the moment.’

At the time, Emily added that it is an ‘important’ thing for her to be single after turning 30 in December.
