‘Same look, few more grey hairs!’: David Beckham recreates his iconic fragrance shoot to celebrate its 15th anniversary… and Victoria calls it the ‘best thing I’ve ever seen’
David Beckham has recreated his iconic 2005 shoot for his fragrance, Instinct by Coty.
The former footballer, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal he had tried to mimic the shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz with the help of his son Brooklyn, 21.
Posting the original shot next to the imitation 15 years on, David joked he had a ‘few more grey hairs’, while his wife Victoria said it was the ‘best post I’ve ever seen’.

The original photo showed the heartthrob staring moodily into the camera, with his shirt partially undone while a thunderstorm raged in the background.
He wrote: ‘Same look, few more grey hairs 15 years on. Having some fun with @BrooklynBeckham recreating this shot from 15 years ago by the legendary @annieleibovitz. #DavidBeckhamFragrances.’
Victoria commented: ‘This is the best post I have every seen!!! It is EVERYTHING!!’ Hitting back, David quipped: ‘Whatever @victoriabeckham better than your golden hour shot that I didn’t know u were posting’ (sic).

The post comes after Victoria shared a romantic sunset snap of Brooklyn and his fiancée Nicola Peltz, 25, on Instagram on Tuesday evening.
The former Spice Girl posted the gorgeous shot of her photographer son gently kissing heiress Nicola’s cheek, branding them ‘the sweetest couple’.
It comes as Nicola faces further speculation that she and Brooklyn have secretly tied the knot, following a friend’s telling comment on social media.

The actress and the aspiring photographer set tongues wagging over the weekend when Nicola posted a cryptic snap of her husband-to-be wearing a gold band on his ring finger.
And a friend of the Transformers star has now sent the rumour mill into overdrive, when commenting underneath her latest photo shared on Brooklyn’s Instagram account on Sunday.
Brooklyn took to the image-sharing platform to upload a snap of his fiancée posing in a black nightie.
And while he kept his caption simple, adding just a love heart-eyed emoji, his friend Leon ‘Starino’ Anderson raised eyebrows as he referred to her as ‘Mrs Beckham’.
Nicola sparked speculation on whether she and Brooklyn have already exchanged nuptials, when she shared a cryptic snap of a gold ring on his finger.
