During her Instagram Q&A, one of Lucy’s followers asked: ‘How’s the wedding planning going on covid?’

The Made In Chelsea star answered: ‘Ummm I don’t know if all brides to be experience this but I’m starting to hate it.

‘We still don’t have a venue and that’s really stressing me out. Once we have that sorted we can relax a bit.

‘I haven’t even tried on dresses yet for everyone asking, should probably do that soon! But will be tricky with having to wear masks etc & only allowed 1 person with you. I think I’m putting it off on purpose to see if the situation improves.’

Asked whether her followers will get to see wedding photographs, or if she’ll keep them private, Lucy admitted: ‘We will keep parts of it private but I think I would struggle not to share some bits!!’

The Made In Chelsea star also opened up about her views on societal pressures to get married and start a family.

She told her Instagram followers: ‘Don’t really understand why everyone cares so much? And I kind of love that things are moving in a less robotic/traditional direction.

‘Just do what you want to do and what makes you happy. That’s all that should matter. It’s not what size fits all when it comes to life decisions.’

Lucy previously revealed during a recent Q&A that she planned to get married next summer, and had hired a wedding planner to help with the event.

She wrote: ‘Thank f**k for this wedding keeping me busy. We’ve hired wedding planners @gspltd & we have a good idea of where we want it and when (next summer), but that’s all in the hope that things will be a bit more normal. Wedding planning is stressful.’

In another slide, the beauty confirmed she wanted to tie the knot outside the UK, with eight bridesmaids by her side.

When responding to a question about whether she wanted a UK or abroad wedding, she responded: ‘Currently: abroad. But that may change. I have told all eight of my bridesmaids.’

Meanwhile, the influencer also shared further details of how James proposed during their trip away to Greece.

Lucy explained: ‘He got the hotel we were staying in to send me a letter saying we were going on a free yacht trip (awkwardly I wasn’t that surprised). He had booked the boat and planned everything.

‘The boat was stunning and I was trying to get content for the hotel. There was a full vegan meal and champagne and we went on a crazy beautiful tour of some private islands. Some of the prettiest scenes I’ve ever witnessed.

‘We went to take a photo together and there he was on one knee. I was literally in shock, my heart didn’t beat for like 3 seconds.

‘We then spent the day on the boat and had the best time with another couple we’re friends with, watched the sun go down. It was perfect.’

Toasting to the occasion with glasses of champagne, the vegan restaurateur enthused she was having ‘the best day ever’ as they watched the sun set.

Lucy and James have been going strong ever since meeting on the E4 series back in 2015, following her ill-fated flings with Andy Jordan, Jamie Laing, Spencer Matthews and Oliver Proudlock.

But while she has been on cloud nine after getting engaged, her happiness has been plagued with grief as she’d had to come to terms with the loss of her dog Digby, who passed away at the end of September.
