But on Wednesday, comedian Julia Morris took a moment to get serious about trolls who have viciously made snide comments about her weight online.

Julia said she made a ‘huge mistake’ by looking up at what viewers were saying about the season and she had spotted several negative comments aimed at her physique.

‘I’ve spotted plenty of lovely comments about my weight, thanks for those,’ she said sarcastically.

‘My advice for you is, I’d like to see you after 33 weeks of being locked inside your house – we all know I want to swear, but I’m keeping a lid on it,’ the Melbourne-based star added.

‘Note to self, stay away from the f**king internet, I mean, just people being nasty for the sake of it.’

‘Like, do people even care about how fat I am? f**k off!. I’m 52 years of age, If I don’t care, you shouldn’t,’ she added while flipping the bird to the camera.

Julia is the cover girl of Prevention magazine’s February/March issue, where she says she hopes to inspire women to be kind to themselves and focus on the health rather than their dress size.

On Monday’s episode of The Project, Julia said people shouldn’t comment on other people’s bodies after an incident occurred in the jungle.

The host, 52, was commenting on The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield’s run-in with AFL legend Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico, who suggested his co-star shouldn’t be walking around the camp in a bikini.
