It is thought that the hopeful reacted badly to being told they were at risk of going home and refused to take part in the lip sync battle, reports the Daily Star.

Although the dramatic scenes were caught on camera, producers of the BBC show are said to still be deciding whether to include the moment in series two.

An insider told the publication: ‘During filming for one episode, RuPaul announced which of the contestants were at risk of going home.

‘One of them did not take it well at all. They completely lost it. They swore at RuPaul and said they weren’t going to do the lip sync.

‘Then they stormed off. No-one could believe what they were seeing. It was incredibly disrespectful.’

They added that the contestant, whose identity is not known, was also heard telling the experts to ‘f*** off’ and held onto the grudge by refusing to take part in a reunion when filming was over.

However a BBC source denied the claims and told MailOnline that there wasn’t any dramatic incident on set.

This year’s edition will see the queens compete in weekly challenges, where their lip syncing, fashion sense, sewing, humour, singing, make-up, acting and dancing will be put to the test for ten weeks.

Following the franchise’s mantra, the group will be assessed on their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent, before the bottom two queens will be asked to lip sync to save their position in the competition.

RuPaul, 60, and Michelle, 52, will be joined by comedians Alan, 44, or Graham, 57, on a rotational basis, while an extra special celebrity guest judge will sit on the panel each week.
