Avril and Mod have been dating in recent weeks following the late January release of his song Flames, which featured Avril and was included on his album.
The two have also been working on her upcoming seventh studio album, along with producers John Feldmann, Blink-182’s Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly.
In response to a fan’s recent query about the LP on Instagram, Avril replied: ‘It’s done! Music coming soon. For sure summer.’
Even before their relationship was confirmed, the rapper had been spotted with a new tattoo on the back of his neck reading ‘Avril,’ with the ‘A’ circled to resemble an anarchy symbol.

Avril has been married twice, first to Sum 41 guitarist Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010.
She dated Brody Jenner of The Hills fame shortly afterward until 2012, before marrying Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in 2013.
However, the marriage wasn’t long-lived and the two announced a separation in 2015, though they’ve continued to be friends since then.
