Instagram influencers EXPOSED for posing with unopened products

Instagram influencers are EXPOSED for posing with products that have never been opened in cringeworthy sponsored posts

It’s no secret that influencers can make a handsome living from promoting products on Instagram.

But eagle-eyed fans have recently discovered the rise of an embarrassing new trend on online: models posing with cosmetic products they’ve never even used.

Gossip account Celeb Spellcheck posted a series of images this week of influencers posing next to unopened products from haircare brand Bondi Boost.

Whoops! Celeb Spellcheck has exposed the embarrassing trend of influencers posting sponsored reviews for haircare brand Bondi Boost, while posing next to unopened products. Pictured: Model Indy Clinton

Each influencer’s caption claimed they’d been using the product for some time – even though their photos suggested they’d never even removed the lid.

In one post, model Indy Clinton poses with a towel wrapped around her waist, next to a bottle of ‘hair-growth and breastfeeding support’ pills.

While Indy claimed she’d been taking the Bondi Boost tablets for ‘four weeks’, the bottle’s safety steal was still intact, meaning that it hadn’t been opened yet.

Elsewhere, influencer Gia Giudice posted a selfie with two unopened bottles of Bondi Boost shampoo and conditioner.

But in the caption, the reality star claimed she’d used the products ‘a few times’ and that her hair was feeling ‘super soft’ as a result.
