He became a father for the third time on April 22 with the arrival of a baby girl.

Nick wore a white t-shirt and jeans for the photo shoot while his newborn daughter wore only a diaper.

He held her close to his shoulder with one hand supporting the back of her head.

The infant’s arrival had some complications which necessitated a short stay in the NICU after the singer’s wife Lauren gave birth in hospital in Las Vegas.

But on April 26, Nick tweeted: ‘Ok everyone, I wanted to let you know that finally, we are home safe and sound. Baby is doing so much better.’

In a recent interview with AskMen, Nick, 41, spoke about how his Backstreet Boys bandmates’ routines with their respective kids helped him prepare for becoming a father.

‘I was able to see how they were with their children, taking little tips and little things from them that I’m able to apply to my children, as well,’ he explained.

As for becoming a father, he shared: ‘The greatest thing is just to be in their lives, and to be able to see the first steps and first crawls. Those are the rewarding moments.’
