Jack Grealish is set to be dropped from the starting line-up for England’s Euro 2020 opener against Croatia. 

The Aston Villa man is set to miss out despite impressing for the Three Lions in their warm-up games ahead of the tournament, while Gareth Southgate is set to go with a back four despite Harry Maguire’s injury.

Kieran Trippier is expected to get the shock nod at left back over naturals Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw as part of a back four.

With the Manchester United captain still recovering from injury, John Stones is set to be joined by Tyrone Mings in the centre of defence, while Manchester City’s Kyle Walker will start over Reece James.

Kalvin Phillips is set to start in a midfield three alongside Declan Rice, with Mason Mount slightly ahead.

While up front unsurprisingly Harry Kane is set to start, and it is expected he will joined by Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden.
