Roger Federer makes light work of Lorenzo Sonego to reach Wimbledon quarter-finals after straight sets win as 39-year-old Swiss continues bid for a record 21st Grand Slam title

Roger Federer‘s body may not be what it once was but it is still going to take something special to knock him out here at Wimbledon.

Italy‘s Lorenzo Sonego didn’t have the requisite finesse or panache when it mattered as he fell to a 7-2, 6-4, 6-2 defeat on Centre Court.  

While all the talk surrounds how world No 1 Novak Djokovic appears unstoppable, having already won both Grand Slam titles this year, Federer is quietly going about his business with ruthless efficiency.
