  • The 45-year-old actress is reportedly exploring a sale of her media company Hello Sunshine, which she founded back in November 2016
  • The company, valued at $1 billion, is being pursued by ‘multiple suitors including Apple Inc,’ according to The Wall Street Journal 
  •  The Oscar winner has previously worked with Apple TV on her hit drama The Morning Show, also starring Jennifer Aniston

Reese Witherspoon is reportedly exploring a sale of her media company Hello Sunshine, which she founded back in November 2016. 

The company behind the series Big Little Lies and Little Fires Everywhere, valued at $1 billion, is being pursued by ‘multiple suitors including Apple Inc,’ according to The Wall Street Journal

The Oscar-winning actress, 45, has previously worked with Apple TV on her hit drama The Morning Show, also starring Jennifer Aniston

Like a boss: Reese Witherspoon is reportedly exploring a sale of her media company Hello Sunshine, which she founded back in 2016;  seen in April 

She and her husband Jim Toth are said to be working with their partner Seth Rodsky, investment bankers and financial advisers to find a buyer. 

At this time, it is unknown how much progress has been made on the possible sale.

Hello Sunshine’s upcoming productions include Amazon’s Daisy Jones and the Six, the film adaptation of Where the Crawdads Sing and Luckiest Girl Alive, which is slated to become a TV series.

In April, Witherspoon admitted to feeling overwhelmed that Hello Sunshine was named one of TIME100’s Most Influential Companies. 

‘Honestly, I can’t properly express what a humbling experience it is to be recognized by @time as a business leader,’ she wrote on Instagram.

She went on to say: ‘The minute my career became about amplifying other women’s voices, and creating more for others, the world opened up for me in the most incredible ways.’ 

‘I really credit all the incredible people I stand shoulder to shoulder with @hellosunshine. Without their infinite creativity and endless hard work, this company would never become all that it is,’ she added.  

And then she highlighted how important it is to have women working with women.
