Love Island’s Amber Davies ‘back with ex boyfriend Nick Kyriacou after the pair reunited last month’

Former Love Island star Amber Davies is reportedly back with her ex boyfriend Nick Kyriacou after the pair reunited last month.

Amber, 24, previously told her friends that the operations manager was ‘The One’ but confirmed in April she had split with him six months into their romance.

A source told The Sun: ‘Things got way too intense too fast, and lockdown amplified everything. But when they were apart it made them realise how much they did love each other. Now, they’re taking it slow.’

The gorgeous pair started dating over a year ago and despite the Welsh television personality gushing about their fairytale romance, lockdown meant they struggled to make it work.

Amber took to her socials at the time of their split, revealing that nothing ‘dramatic’ triggered their break-up but ‘life is too short to be anything but the best version of yourself.’

She also penned to her Instagram followers: ‘I feel like break ups are always looked at like a bad/sad time but honestly… Sometimes you just have to call a spade a spade.

‘When two people come together it’s amazing yes, but also tough.

‘You have to adapt and compromise and something you just have to accept it’s not meant to be. It only hurts if you allow it to hurt. Everything in life is a lesson, good and bad.

‘Take your life lessons and move forward.’

MailOnline has contacted as spokesperson for Amber for more information.

Amber won Love Island back in 2017 with Kem Cetinay, 25, but they split after 6 months together following the ‘pressures’ felt by the pair to maintain the ‘perfect relationship’.

The stunner took to her socials on Monday to encourage her followers to sign a petition that would mean verified ID is a requirement for opening a social media account.

This comes as England footballers Marcus Rashford, 23, Jadon Sancho, 21, and Bukayo Saka, 19 have been subjected to racial abuse online following the team’s defeat to Italy in the Euros final.

Amber shared the petition and wrote: ‘Madness this isn’t already a requirement… Swipe up to sign this incredibly important petition’.
