But according to the publication, an insider has ‘strongly denied’ Jess’ claims.

A representative at Freemantle Media, the production company behind the hit show, told Daily Mail Australia in a statement that it can be ‘challenging and stressful’ trying to find love on a TV show and said they offer support for contestants.

‘The producers of FWAW acknowledge that being a contestant on a reality television show trying to find love is challenging and can be stressful at times,’ the spokesperson said.

They added: ‘The producers of FWAW have in place extensive policies and procedures to create a safe environment for all parties involved in production and we continue to offer support to all our contestants.’

After the show, Jess sweetly wrote that she found her ‘true love’ on the show.

‘Diving in head first on reality tv certainly brings out the best and worst in anyone. I never thought I’d meet my true love in such a bizarre setting, but how lucky am I to experience so much emotion and connection with my person in such a short period of time,’ she wrote.

She added in part of her post: ‘Andrew you have my whole heart. Seven months on and I can finally let the world know that I have found my penguin. Now to enjoy the experience for what it was meant for. I love you.’

She finished: ‘P.S despite what you saw on camera, he said it first,’ alongside a wink emoji.
