Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards reveals she’s in ‘self isolation’ with Alex Oxlade Chamberlain

Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards does the moonwalk as she reveals she’s in ‘precautionary self isolation’ with beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain amid coronavirus outbreak

She was recently forced to pull out of a Little Mix concert in Brazil due to a mystery illness.

And Perrie Edwards was taking no chances with her health amid the coronavirus outbreak as she revealed she was in ‘precautionary self isolation’ with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The singer, 26, looked in good spirits as she posted a clip of herself and Alex doing the moonwalk at home on Instagram on Saturday.

Quarantine: Perrie Edwards performed a perfectly choreographed routine as she continued to self isolate at home with boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The former X Factor contestant kept it casual as she donned skintight grey leggings and an over-sized cream hoodie to shimmy across her marble floor.

She let her poker-straight blonde tresses fall loosely in front of her face as she pulled out the polished dance moves to Pretty Girl by Maggie Lindemann.

Alex looked equally dressed down in black jeans and a white Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt.

Upon reaching the top, Perrie struck a series of poses with her arms waving wildly in the air before the couple both slid back out of view.

She uploaded the video alongside the caption: ‘Precautionary self isolation can be fun!’

The post comes after Perrie was recently forced to pull out of an appearance with her bandmates due to illness.

Little Mix were due to perform at the GRLS festival in Brazil earlier this month but only Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were able to take to the stage.

Ahead of the show, Perrie took to Instagram Stories to share a post apologising to fans, before insisting her bandmates will ‘absolutely smash it’ in her absence.

In her post, Perrie said: ‘Hey everyone, I’m so sorry to announce that I am unable to travel and perform in Brazil with the rest of the girls on Sunday due to being unwell.

‘To all the fans that are attending the show, I’m heartbroken I can’t be there with you, but I know the girls will absolutely smash their performance and give you everything in my absence. Lots of love Perrie x.’

Alex, who currently plays for Liverpool FC, took part in the Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

But the Premier League has since taken the precaution to cancel all of its matches until April 4 following the global outbreak of COVID-19.

Several big names in the sport including Mikel Arteta and Callum Hudson-Odoi have already tested positive for coronavirus.
