Andy Cohen shares long distance snap of Anderson Cooper taken from his window: ‘This is as close as I’ll be getting to Anderson for a while’

He recently announced he’s ‘feeling better’ after recovering from a case of COVID-19

But Andy Cohen still wasn’t prepared to take any chances, with the 51-year-old TV personality interacting with longtime pal Anderson Cooper from afar on Tuesday.

Cooper, 52, was riding his bike through New York City streets when Cohen snapped him from his apartment window.

The CNN star looked up and smiled for the long-distance photograph.

Anderson was decked out in head-to-toe black for the outing, and went sans mask, despite Federal government recommendations to cover faces as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps the United States.

‘This is about as close as I’ll be getting to @andersoncooper for a while…. (on 10x zoom lens btw!) #ComeToMyWindow #SocialDistancing,’ Bravo star Andy captioned the pic.

Authorities have also recommended that people maintain a distance of at least six feet from each other during the pandemic, so as to reduce the chance of the potentially deadly COVID-19 virus spreading.

Before testing positive for the virus, Real Housewives producer Cohen was already working from home, where he was recording Radio Andy broadcasts.

‘After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus,’ he announced on Instagram March 20.

Although he was hoping to do at-home recordings of his talk show Watch What Happens Live from lockdown, he suspended that idea to ‘focus on getting better.’

While he was sick he shared on Radio Andy that the ‘very worst part’ of his illness was having to be kept apart from his son Ben, one.
