Colin Hanks skips his usual mask and gloves as he goes for a stroll with his daughter 

He’s been spotted out multiples times with a mask and thick gloves to protect himself from the coronavirus.

But Colin Hanks didn’t follow his usual safety procedures on Friday as he stepped out in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old actor was joined on his walk by his youngest daughter Charlotte, six, who rode her bicycle at his side.

Colin stuck with a low-key look featuring a black Los Angeles Football Club hoodie over a royal blue shirt, which he paired it with gray jeans and black sneakers.

Like his father Tom Hanks, who published a short story collection in 2017, Colin was a fan of literature and showed off his love with a black baseball cap for the massive independent bookstore Powell’s, located in Portland, Oregon.

Charlotte covered up in a seafoam fleece jacket with navy shorts and gray boot as she rode her bike, which still had training wheels attached.

Tagging along in the rear was the family’s cute French Bulldog Coco. 

Colin previously had another black French Bulldog named Earl Boykins, though he revealed on Instagram last month that the perpetually smiley pooch had died.

His father Tom Hanks, who was one of the first celebrities to test positive for the coronavirus, hosted a pre-taped at-home edition of Saturday Night Live.

The film icon mostly offered his reassuring presence as a master of ceremonies, as he wasn’t featured in any of the sketches, though he seemed to have fully recovered from his Covid-19 scare.

‘Why me as host?’ Hanks said. ‘Well, for one, I have been the celebrity canary in the coal mine for the coronavirus, and ever since being diagnosed, I have been more like America’s dad than ever before since no one wants to be around me anymore and I make people uncomfortable.’ 

Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson both tested positive for the virus while in Australia to film Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming Elvis Presley biopic.

The Saving Private Ryan actor is set to play Colonel Tom Parker, who managed Elvis as he became a household name before abandoning him when his popularity fell throughout the 1960s.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Colin has been taking the opportunity to plug his brand of handkerchiefs, Hanks Kerchiefs.

The Orange County star provided a tutorial on social media on how to fashion a face mask out of handkerchief, and he shared that his company was now sending out instructions in each package.

The CDC now recommends that all Americans wear masks when going out in public spaces, and LA County, where Colin lives, has gone further with an order requiring them in public spaces.
