She was left completely flustered and even questioned her cooking skills during a gruelling cod challenge with Gordon Ramsay on MasterChef on Thursday. 

And now Sarah Clare has revealed what it was really like working alongside the celebrity chef. 

Speaking to 10 Daily, the 33-year-old admitted how hard it was to keep up with the British star during his test and said the experience ‘shook her to her core.’

‘It shook me to my core,’ Sarah told the publication. 

After she struggled to fillet a fish during the challenge, Sarah said the pressure of working with Gordon made her question her skills. 

‘But you’re not thinking like that, you’re trying to mirror what Gordon Ramsay’s doing for some stupid reason,’ Sarah said.

Sarah joked that she and her season 10 co-stars – who are back this season – were still recovering from a ‘horrific’ burger challenge that they did with Gordon two years ago. 

‘We walked through the door and there’s Gordon – I had flashbacks, like PTSD flashbacks from our season and this horrific burger challenge,’ she said. 

The red head said that Gordon – who is known for his fiery temper – was ‘amazing’ to work with this time around and ‘no one felt like an idiot sandwich.’

Looks delicious... and tricky! During the challenge, Sarah and her co-stars Callum Hann and Lynton Tapp had to recreate on of Gordon's top dishes, a potato-crusted Murray cod with vegetable minestrone and macadamia puree

After the challenge, Sarah thrilled fans when she cheekily sipped some leftover wine straight from a measuring cup. 

‘Yeah, that’s better,’ she said.

After completing the challenge Sarah remarked: ‘I got to cook alongside Gordon Ramsay and keep up with him.’

MasterChef: Back to Win returns to screens on Sunday at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
