Jonah Hill looks carefree as he takes a day trip to Malibu for some surfing and sunshine

Jonah Hill hit the beach Saturday. 

The Mid90s director looked happy to outdoors as he met up with a group of friends to surf.

Jonah, 36, donned a blue wetsuit to keep away the chill of the early morning waters.

The Superbad actor looked like he was enjoying himself as he caught several waves on his longboard.

Jonah talked about the importance of friends and family during these tough times in a video for Adidas’ ‘Change Is A Team Sport’ campaign.

‘No matter what your situation, it’s new. This is a new situation and there’s gonna be new thoughts and emotions that come along with that. 

‘You are gonna need support from your loved ones and they’re gonna need it back from you.

‘So whether you can call them or talk to them or even just think about them. Be easy on yourself in the realm that it’s okay to need a little help from them.

Ultimately whether it’s about Adidas or if it’s about my filmmaking family, or it’s my actual family nothing improves builds or changes unless we all are a team.

The Wolf Of Wall Street actor made his feature film directorial debut with the 2018 film Mid90s about a 13-year-old who loves skateboarding. 

‘The film is in no way an autobiography,’ he told Newsweek. ‘But there are things that are highly personal – mostly just the emotions of growing up, what things felt like.’

Jonah has spent more than a year in a relationship with photographer Gianna Santos, whom he got engaged to last summer.
