Danielle Armstrong marks BFF Ferne McCann’s 30th birthday with sweet post

Danielle Armstrong has marked her BFF Ferne McCann’s 30th birthday with a sweet tribute post on Thursday.

The former TOWIE star, 32, praised her ‘darling’ pal for ‘always being there’ as she shared a collage of images from their greatest memories. 

Amid the coronavirus lockdown, the new mum admitted she’s ‘gutted’ she can’t celebrate the milestone with their typically lavish parties due to social distancing rules, but is looking forward to visiting her briefly to drop off a gift later in the day.

The reality star, who welcomed her first child Orla with fiancé Tom Edney in May, wrote: ‘Happy 30th To My Darling Friend Ferne. 

‘Im absolutely gutted we can’t be celebrating your 30th how we should be but we will when we can. 

‘Just wanted to say I’m so proud of the woman you have become at 30 you have accomplished so much.

‘You are a fantastic mummy to Sunday and always their for your friends. I love your weird and wonderful ways and I love our special friendship. 

‘Hope you have a lovely day and I’ll see you later to give you your pressie. Love you lots @fernemccann x’ (sic).

Ferne’s friend Vicky Pattison also marked the day with a heartfelt post along with several snaps of herself and Ferne.

She wrote: ‘Oh Miss @fernemccan looking through these lovely photos made me happy and sad all at once… We need a proper catch up ASAP.

‘I want to wish you the happiest of birthdays because you deserve it- I can’t wait to see you and celebrate with you properly but I’m the meantime let me just say that you’re a wonderful friend and I’m lucky to have you… 

‘Whether we’re showering in the jungle, making pizzas in Positano, becoming neighbours (possibly) or helping each other through some of our darker moments- I know I can always count on you to make me smile.

‘Welcome to the 30’s club kidddddd (hangovers take 3 times as long to get over and we get excited about getting a new mop enjoy). 

Fellow TOWIE star Billie Faiers also took to her Instagram Stories and shared several snaps of herself and Ferne taken throughout the years.

Alongside the photos, she wrote: ‘Happy 30th birthday to my beautiful friend @fernemccann. 19 years of wonderful friendship and memories.

”Thank you for the endless belly laughs and banter. Have the best day my darling. Welcome to the 30s.’

Last year, Ferne and Danielle rang in her birthday with a fun-filled dinner in Marbella with Billie Faiers. 

The TV personalities forged a close bond since they appeared on ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex, with Danielle even asking Ferne to be one of her bridesmaids at her upcoming wedding.

The birthday girl, who is a devoted single parent to Sunday, two, recently admitted her dating life has ‘fallen flat’ after ‘finding herself’ in lockdown.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline the First Time Mum star admitted that despite having a ‘few date offers’, she prefers to ‘find that chemistry’ by meeting someone face-to-face. 

The blonde beauty has been single ever since she split from her boyfriend Albie Gibbs in May. 

The influencer said: ‘Lockdown would have been a great time to spark up some conversation.

‘But being single – I’ve had this conversation with lots of my single friends – conversations with new love interests in lockdown last from two days to a week… and then it falls flat.

‘It’s a mutual understanding, there’s nothing you can talk about. For me, I didn’t have any Zoom dates or that. I like to be in front of someone to have that chemistry, the lookout for love hasn’t been a priority.

‘I’m on this whole like ”I’m 30 tomorrow, I’ve got a house to run, I’ve got my hair to wash,” I’m not looking for love, and when I put that out to the universe, and said ”it would be great I’d love to be chatting to a few guys right”… zilch! Nada!’
