Jenna Dewan celebrates her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum’s first birthday as she ‘thanks the universe’ for her little boy
Jenna Dewan learned she was pregnant with her first child, a son, with fiance Steve Kazee in the summer of 2019.
And on Saturday, the actress, 40, joyously celebrated her ‘rainbow baby’ Callum’s first birthday, whom she welcomed into the world in March of 2020.
To mark the occasion, Jenna uploaded an adorable side-by-side snapshot of Callum to Instagram that showed him posing next to a photo of himself as a newborn.

‘I cut off half the frame while taking this picture because I was just too blown away…!’ she explained of the image in her post’s caption.
‘The fact that this little angel baby is one years old today is blowing my mind.’
In the photo, Callum looked adorable dressed in a tan onesie as he sat in front of his crib at the Los Angeles home Jenna shares with her hunky fiancé.
‘Callum, you came in to this world and changed it the instant you were here…you brought with you pure joy, pure love and a little spark of the divine that i have a feeling will never leave,’ the mother of two gushed.
The Step Up star proceeded to write about how her boy has brought everyone around him together ‘like the bright shining sun,’ which everyone is happy to ‘bask in’ all day.

‘It is an absolute gift and honor to be your mommy.’
With COVID-19 still very much a danger, Dewan apologized for not being able to have a proper birthday for Callum.
‘I also feel that is a part of your magic…showing us all how incredible it is to slow down, focus on what matters and be together as a family.’
She ended by gushing about how she, Kazee, and her daughter Everly, whom she shares with ex-husband and actor Channing Tatum, ‘thank the universe for you every single day and we love you beyond our little rainbow baby!!!’

Dewan also shares a snap of her ‘rainbow baby’ sitting on his daddy’s lap, and another of him crawling on the floor with six rainbow emojis hovering next to him.
To close out her Instagram Story, Jenna uploaded a boomerang video of herself lifting her right arm up into the air triumphantly in a cropped white t-shirt.
‘And I do believe moms should celebrate on their kids BIRTH days too…!’ she captioned the image before adding, ‘We are all Wonder Women.’
A ‘rainbow baby’ is a term often used to describe a child that is born to a family who previously suffered a miscarriage or pregnancy loss.
