Due to the size of the servings and popularity of the challenge itself, booking in advance is essential to ensure the tavern has enough time to prepare.

After sharing images of the attempts on Facebook, hundreds said they would ‘give it a go’.

‘I’ve got the parmi easy, but I reckon the chips would catch me off guard,’ one man wrote.

‘I reckon I could do this on a good day,’ another said and tagged a friend in the comments.

While many were excited by the challenge, others thought the enormous serving size was a ‘waste’ of food.

But if left incomplete the remaining chicken parmigiana could likely be taken home to eat the following day if desired.

Those who don’t wish to partake in the challenge can order a schnitzel of standard size or choose from the delicious range of dishes from the menu.
