‘Do you use crates, plastic bags or Aldi freezer bags?’ she asked on the post, which included pictures of the black plastic boxes.

Most people shared their own systems for stacking groceries from the store, while congratulating her on her ‘great idea’.

One woman revealed she uses a collapsible shopping trolley when she heads to the store.

‘I have this bad boy, makes getting everything into the house easy too,’ she said.

Some admitted to putting their groceries in a washing basket to get them home.

Others use bags and are happy with their system.

‘I use the Aldi trolley bags, it is so quick,’ one mum said.

While another admitted she doesn’t use bags at all and let her groceries be ‘free range’ in the boot.

But the poster wasn’t alone with her use of crates – others also employ the tactic when they head to the German-owned chain.

‘Collapsible crates from Costco here, never going back to bags,’ said one woman who uses them at other stores too.

‘I have been using a collapsible crate for over 40 years,’ bragged another.

Another woman simply uses a large Ikea bag, which she lines the trolley with, getting all of her groceries in and out in one go.
