Roy Keane has predicted England will fall short at the upcoming European Championship tournament in a hilarious new Road to Wembley series with Micah Richards.ย 

The iconic former Manchester United captain joined ex-Manchester City defender Richards for a road trip to England’s home ground ahead of Euro 2020, which begins on Friday.ย 

In the eight-minute first episode, released by Sky Bet‘s Twitter account on Monday, Keane also criticised Richards for pitching up late and asked to stop off at TGI Fridays for a bite to eat.

Keane initially displayed his frustration with Richards’ tardiness, checking his watch, blowing out his cheeks and stating he ‘didn’t want to go anymore.’

He said: Why can’t people be on time? There’s no excuse. Where is he? Jesus, man.’ย

After catching up with Richards, the 49-year-old declared his belief Gareth Southgate’s side would reach the last four of the competition, before asking theย 13-cap international if they could stop off at the American restaurant chain, at 11.10am.

He added: ‘Do you know what? I’m probably going to say semi-final. I just think maybe (defensively) they will be caught out.

‘Is it too early for TGI Fridays? I’m hungry. Is it open?’ before stating his go-to meal there is a burger and chips.ย
