Real Madrid ‘want Man United outcast Donny van de Beek on loan as part of Raphael Varane’ deal

Real Madrid ‘want to sign Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek on loan with an option to buy as part of £50m deal for Raphael Varane’ with Spanish giants keen on Dutchman, despite his nightmare first year at Old Trafford

Real Madrid want midfielder Donny Van de Beek on loan as part of any deal involving Manchester United and defender Raphael Varane, according to reports.

Sportsmail revealed in April that United were weighing up a summer move for centre back Varane, having been given encouragement that he was ready to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season given his contract ends in 2022.

Dutch midfielder Van de Beek, meanwhile, struggled for game time in his debut season at Old Trafford following his £40million move from Ajax last summer, playing only half of United’s Premier League matches, scoring just once.

United are in negotiations with Real for Varane who has one year left on his contract

And according to The Sun, Real want to include Van de Beek in United’s deal for Varane, with a commitment to buying the 24-year-old when his loan spell ends next summer.
