Tottenham are among the clubs tracking Sassuolo defender Mert Muldur ahead of next season.

The right-back is attracting heavy interest from England with Spurs among the clubs plotting a move.

Recently appointed managing director of football Fabio Paratici is understood to be an admirer of the Turkey international is ready to pursue the full-back.

New head coach Nuno Espírito Santo and Paratici are in the midst of finalising Tottenham’s recruitment plans with the 22-year-old under consideration.

West Ham are also said to carry an interest in Muldur, who has 10 caps for the Turkey national team.

Muldur can also play on the opposite flank and his versatility is known to be a key reason behind why he is attracting interest from across Europe.

He made two appearances for Turkey during the Euros.
