President John F. Kennedy’s Georgetown residence, where he lived when he met Jacqueline Bouvier, his future wife, has sold for $4.2million.
Kennedy lived in the three-bedroom home with his sister, Eunice, from 1949 to 1951, Town and Country reports. During this time, he served as a junior member of the Senate for the state of Massachusetts.
The former president would meet his eventual bride in the May of 1951, when the two were introduced during a dinner party at a nearby home in the area, according to the New York Post.
The pair would eventually marry in 1953, and just ten years later Kennedy would become president.
