Rugby WAG Zoe Marshall claims that she ISN’T rich… despite husband Benji being one of NRL’s biggest stars

Her husband is one of the biggest superstars in NRL history.

But despite being married to rugby royalty, Benji Marshall’s wife Zoe claims that she isn’t rich.

In an Instagram Q&A, the WAG said that she was ‘in no way rich financially.’

Responding to a fan, Zoe said: ‘I love that I give off the boujee but no, in no way rich financially but totally rich when it comes to love, soul, and joy.

‘Also, I would only think I was “rich” if I never had to work/worry about money again.’

Zoe is currently the host of her own hugely successful podcast, The Deep, which reached No. 1 on the podcast charts last year.

It was also selected by Apple’s podcast team as the second best show of 2020.  

She also shares sponsored content on Instagram from time to time, collaborating with brands like L’Oréal Paris and Bounce breakfast bars.

It’s unclear exactly how much her husband Benji makes on his NRL contract, but he’s arguably one of the biggest names in Australian and New Zealand sport.

Back in 2013, Benji signed a two-year deal with the Blues worth $500,000 a season.

The same year, he signed an endorsement deal with NIB to become a brand ambassador for the health insurance company in New Zealand. 

These days, the athlete does a lot of brand deals on Instagram, where he boasts 155,000 followers.

Benji is currently unsigned, but has reportedly been trying to ink a lucrative deal with a club.

On January 12, Channel Seven reported that the Sydney Roosters weren’t interested in signing the NRL legend, and were instead focused on younger players. 

In 2010 Marshall won the Golden Boot Award for the best international player.
